- From the text of the answer
English translation (unreviewed): In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, and may Allah send blessings and peace upon the Messenger of Allah, his family and companions and whoever follows his guidance. To proceed: Praying in clothes that have pictures of animals is not permissible, because when the Messenger ﷺ saw at 'A'ishah's, may Allah be pleased with her, a curtain with pictures, he became angry and tore it down, and said: “The makers of these pictures will be punished on the Day of Resurrection, and it will be said to them: bring to life what you created.” And when he saw pictures on the walls of the Ka'bah, he, peace be upon him, erased them and forbade pictures in the house, and he said to 'Ali: “Do not leave any picture without erasing it, nor any raised grave without levelling it.”
