What is required when madhi comes out?

Short answer

The emission of madhi does not require ghusl, but it breaks wudu', and the man washes his organ and testicles and what got on the garment, as the fatwa states.

Evidence and explanation

The Shaykh cited the hadith ordering wudu' for madhi and washing the organ and testicles, and distinguished between madhi and semen.

Question

English translation (unreviewed): Does the emission of madhi require ghusl?

From the text of the answer

English translation (unreviewed): The emission of madhi does not require ghusl, but it requires wudu' after washing the male organ and the testicles if he wants to pray, circumambulate or touch the Mushaf. For when the Prophet ﷺ was asked about it he said: “It requires wudu'”, and he ordered whoever is affected by madhi to wash his organ and his testicles. What requires ghusl is semen when it is emitted in spurts with pleasure, or when one sees its trace after waking from sleep, at night or in the day [1].
