Question

English translation (unreviewed): He asks and says: Do the menstruating woman and the woman in post-natal bleeding make up fasting and prayer?

From the text of the answer

English translation (unreviewed): The menstruating woman and the woman in post-natal bleeding make up the fasting only, according to all the scholars; as for the prayer, it is not made up according to all the scholars. 'A'ishah, may Allah be pleased with her, said: “We were ordered to make up the fast” — meaning in menstruation — “and we were not ordered to make up the prayer.”
