Question

English translation (unreviewed): My last question: Is it correct that when a woman becomes pure from her monthly period she must repeat the prayers obligation by obligation, time by time, for all the days she spent in her period, or does she pray the same prayer without repetition? And thank you very much.

From the text of the answer

English translation (unreviewed): The menstruating woman and the woman in post-natal bleeding have no making up. 'A'ishah, may Allah be pleased with her, said: “We were ordered to make up the fast and we were not ordered to make up the prayer.” She only makes up the days of Ramadan that she broke the fast in the state of post-natal bleeding or the state of menstruation. As for the prayer, Allah, Mighty and Majestic, dropped it from them, the menstruating woman and the woman in post-natal bleeding. The wisdom in that — and Allah knows best — is that it recurs often, so if she were ordered to make it up it would be hard on her; so from Allah's mercy He dropped the prayers from her in the state of menstruation and the state of post-natal bleeding, so she does not make them up; she only makes up the fast, the days she broke in Ramadan, she makes them up. Yes.
