May the sick combine prayers?

Short answer

The sick may combine Zuhr and 'Asr and Maghrib and 'Isha' if there is considerable hardship in performing each prayer in its time; without hardship he prays each prayer in its time.

Evidence and explanation

The Shaykh linked the permissibility of combining with the presence of hardship, and counted the sick among those with an excuse.
