Sunnahs of the prayer

Do not let the abundance of sunnahs cause confusion. Master the pillars and obligations first, then add the sunnahs little by little.

• The opening supplication.
• Seeking refuge and the basmalah.
• Reciting a surah after al-Fatihah in its places.
• Adding to the single glorification in bowing and prostration.

• Raising the hands in their places.
• Placing the right hand on the left while standing.
• Looking at the place of prostration.
• The reported sitting postures.
