The people of knowledge and the sources

Know the scholar by his knowledge and source

This page is a guide to reaching the legacy of the scholars, not an automatic list of endorsement nor a substitute for the evidence. When a ruling or hadith is transmitted we open the specific material and cite it from its source.

From whom do we learn our religion?

What counts is knowledge, evidence and trustworthiness, not mere fame

Allah, the Most High, said: “So ask the people of the message if you do not know” [al-Nahl: 43; al-Anbiya': 7]. This page does not classify people automatically, but helps one return to the original sources and the scholar known for knowledge.

01

Return to the people of knowledge

Do not make the search engine or artificial intelligence independent in issuing fatwas.

02

Open the source itself

The scholar's card is not enough to establish a fatwa; the specific material and its context are reviewed.

03

Venerating the Qur'an and the Sunnah

The strongest source is revelation and what is authentic of the Sunnah, then the words of the people of knowledge in understanding and applying it.

04

Returning to the truth

The learner seeks the evidence and knows that the scholar is a human being, and does not make the name a substitute for the source.

The rule of benefit

The scholar points you to the evidence, and the source allows you to review

No fatwa, ruling or grading is attributed to a scholar merely by an introductory card; open the specific text, read its context, and transmit his wording faithfully.
